Peters Signature Travel reviews ROUGE Las Vegas at The STRAT: an excellent, tasteful adult show we tried on colleagues' advice and thoroughly enjoyed.

By Peters Signature Travel · Published 2026-11-02
ROUGE Las Vegas would not typically have been on our itinerary.
We generally do not gravitate toward this style of adult entertainment. But colleagues encouraged us to give it a chance, telling us that the production was very tasteful and worth seeing.
We are glad we listened. Peters Signature Travel attended ROUGE at The STRAT and found it to be an excellent show.
Sometimes a trusted recommendation leads you toward an experience you would otherwise overlook. This was one of those evenings.
Explore ROUGE and current performances
ROUGE is an adults-only variety production at The STRAT Theater in Las Vegas, combining cabaret, acrobatics, aerial performances, dance, and comedy. The show includes nudity and sexual themes, and admission is restricted to guests ages 18 and older.
That context matters when deciding whether it suits your evening. For us, the recommendation from colleagues helped us look beyond the promotional language and consider the production itself.
Their description of it as tasteful proved consistent with our own impression.

We went in with some hesitation because this was outside our usual choice of shows. We left happy that we had gone.
We found ROUGE tasteful, entertaining, and absolutely worth our time.
The adult nature of the production was something we knew about before attending. What mattered to us was how the experience came together as a live show—and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Our colleagues had encouraged us to keep an open mind. Their recommendation was a good one.
For travelers who share our initial hesitation, that is perhaps the most useful part of this review: we did not arrive as regular fans of this category of entertainment, yet we came away with a very positive impression.

In our opinion, yes.
“Tasteful” is personal, particularly when discussing an adult production. Our comfort level may differ from someone else’s, and guests should understand the show’s content before booking.
But the question we had before attending was whether we would enjoy this kind of performance. For us, the answer was an enthusiastic yes.
We appreciated the opportunity to try something different, and ROUGE turned out to be an excellent addition to our Las Vegas trip.

The photographs supplied for this review show several sides of the production, from ensemble costumes and theatrical staging to comedy and aerial performances.
We have selected wider stage views and calmer performance moments to accompany our account. These images offer a glimpse of the production, rather than every element of its adults-only content.
Photography and video recording are not permitted during the performance. Follow the venue’s current rules when attending; these supplied images do not imply permission to record the show.

If you are comfortable with adult themes and looking for a live production to add to your Las Vegas itinerary, we would happily recommend considering ROUGE at The STRAT.
It was outside our usual plans, but that made discovering how much we enjoyed it especially rewarding.
Our colleagues said we should go. We took their advice—and we are glad we did.
Peters Signature Travel’s verdict: an excellent show, tastefully presented in our opinion, and well worth seeing. For more ideas, see our four-night Las Vegas itinerary, our MJ LIVE review and our Swingers Las Vegas review.
