How the destination quiz works

The quiz asks ten short questions about how you like to travel: the pace you enjoy, the scenery that restores you, how much structure you want in a day, who you travel with and what a perfect evening looks like. Your answers are sent to an AI model, which writes a short read of your travel personality and suggests four destinations that suit it.

Treat the result as a starting shortlist, not a booking decision. Each suggestion links to our destination coverage so you can check seasons, where to stay and how to get there before you commit to dates.

How to read your result

The travel-personality summary matters more than the four names. If it says you value privacy and slow mornings, a busy city break will disappoint even if the city is famous. Use the summary as a filter for every destination you consider later, including ones the quiz did not suggest.

Check each suggestion against three practical limits before you fall for it: the month you can travel, the total flying time from your home airport, and whether the hotels you would want are open in that season. Many beach and alpine resorts close or change character outside their main season.

Turning a shortlist into a trip

Open the destination guide for each suggestion and compare the best time to visit, the main areas to stay and the kind of experiences on offer.
