An independent guide to luxury resort deals — how amenity packages, fourth-night-free rates, resort credits and deal-site discounts compare, with a side-by-side value table.
Rarely on rate alone. Luxury groups enforce rate parity, so the nightly figure is usually identical across channels. Genuine savings come from a shoulder-season rate calendar, a fourth-night-free structure, or a non-refundable advance purchase.
A discount lowers the nightly rate and usually removes flexibility, upgrades and elite credit. An amenity package keeps the rate and adds breakfast, a property credit, upgrade priority and check-in flexibility — typically $400 to $700 of value on a four-night stay.
Sometimes, but with consistent trade-offs: non-refundable terms, base room categories, no upgrade eligibility and no amenity programme. Compare against the property's own flexible rate rather than the quoted rack rate.
