After completing our three-night stay at Perry Lane Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel by Marriott, we left with one overwhelming conclusion:
Perry Lane is not exceptional because of its building. It is exceptional because of its people.
While the hotel's sophisticated design, beautiful accommodations, world-class location, and thoughtful amenities certainly place it among Savannah's premier luxury destinations, it is the genuine warmth, professionalism, and consistency of its team that transforms a wonderful hotel into one of the finest hospitality experiences in the South.

This stay was particularly meaningful for us. We chose Perry Lane as the destination to celebrate my wife Miriam's birthday while producing luxury travel content throughout Savannah. We had stayed at Perry Lane several times over the years and had always loved the property. However, our most recent visit before this trip had fallen short of the exceptional standard we had come to expect.
Rather than dismissing our concerns, the hotel's leadership responded with professionalism, humility, and a sincere desire to earn back our confidence. They linked our reservations, arranged for us to remain in the same room throughout our stay, recognized Miriam's birthday, and assured us they wanted the opportunity to remind us why Perry Lane had always been one of our favorite hotels.

They did exactly that.
Located in the heart of Savannah's Historic District, Perry Lane occupies a unique position among the city's luxury hotels. Unlike many historic properties that rely solely on age and nostalgia, Perry Lane embraces contemporary elegance while remaining deeply connected to Savannah's artistic soul.
Walking through the front entrance immediately feels different. The lobby isn't simply a check-in space. It feels like the living room of an impeccably designed Southern residence.

Even after three days, we found ourselves discovering new architectural details and artistic touches throughout the hotel. Very few properties reward curiosity the way Perry Lane does.
First impressions matter. From the moment our vehicle pulled into the valet area, we immediately sensed that this stay would be different. The valet team welcomed us warmly. The front desk greeted us with genuine smiles. Check-in felt personal rather than transactional.

Luxury hospitality is often discussed in terms of thread counts, marble bathrooms, or expensive amenities. Those things certainly matter. But true luxury begins with how guests are made to feel within the first few minutes. Perry Lane understands that better than most.
Long before we reached Savannah, the Perry Lane team had already begun creating our experience.
